Prove data protection with a seal, reports and an archive
When a client, management or the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC) asks, you show evidence instead of assurances. Aiara provides a seal for your website, a monthly archive of all consents and, in Pro, PDF reports, in line with the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP) and the European General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
Seal and archive from CHF 120 per year and domain, PDF reports in Pro.
- 3 types of proof
- 1 archive per month
- 3 PDF reports in Pro
- 24 months of log retention
How do I prove consent?
Anyone who collects consent must be able to prove it if in doubt. That is what a log is for: it records the time, action and chosen categories for every decision. Aiara creates it for every choice in the cookie banner, provides it each month as a CSV file and, in Pro, summarises it in a PDF report.
What the archive contains
Each row of the CSV file is one decision in the banner, with this information:
- Date and time
- When the decision was made.
- Visitor ID
- Shortened, so entries can be matched.
- Action
- Accept all, decline or custom choice.
- Categories
- Which categories were allowed.
- Country
- Which country the visit came from.
- Page
- On which page the choice was made.
No IP address. Detailed logs are deleted after 24 months.
How your proof comes together
- 1
Embed the seal
For every active domain, the “Datenschutz geprüft” seal is ready in the dashboard. Copy the code and place it in your website's footer, for example.
- 2
Consents are logged
Every acceptance, rejection and withdrawal in the banner is logged with the time, action and categories.
- 3
Download the archive
For every completed month, the archive of consents is available as a CSV file inside a ZIP file, without IP addresses.
- 4
PDF reports
In Pro you create reports on consents and the scan as well as a compliance report for the last month, ready to forward.

Legal basis and technology
How Aiara stores consents, masks the IP address and which requirements of the FADP, the GDPR and Google lie behind it is explained on the Compliance page.
What makes your proof stand out
The “Datenschutz geprüft” seal
An image in SVG format for every active domain, sharp at any size and embedded with one line of code.
PDF reports
Consents, scan and a compliance report for the last month, in Pro.
Monthly archive
All consents of a month as a CSV file inside a ZIP file, readable in any spreadsheet.
Seal and archive in every plan
Both are already part of Basic. Pro adds the PDF reports.
Without IP addresses
The archive contains date, time, a shortened visitor ID, action, categories, country and page, but no IP address.
Clear retention
Aiara deletes detailed logs after 24 months. Anything you want to keep longer, you save via the archive.
Frequently asked questions
What does the “Datenschutz geprüft” seal show?
The seal, whose German text means “data protection checked”, shows visitors that your website implements data protection with Aiara. It is available for every active domain, in every plan. It does not replace a review by an authority or a certification.
How do I embed the seal?
The seal is an SVG image with a link. Copy the code in the dashboard next to your domain and place it in your website's footer, for example.
Which PDF reports are there?
Three in Pro: a report on consents, one on the scan of your website and a compliance report for the last month. They are suitable for management, for clients or for your own records.
What does the monthly archive of consents contain?
A CSV file inside a ZIP file with one row per decision: date, time, shortened visitor ID, action, categories, country and page. The archive contains no IP address. It is available in every plan.
How long does Aiara keep the logs?
Aiara deletes detailed logs after 24 months. If you need proof for longer, download the monthly archives and keep them yourself.
Do I need to be able to prove consent?
For visitors from the EU, Art. 7 GDPR requires that you can demonstrate consent. Under the FADP, too, a log helps when a person or the FDPIC asks. Our Compliance page explains the legal basis in detail.
Does all this work for several domains?
Yes. The seal is available for every active domain, and Aiara also creates the archive and reports per domain.
How much does proof cost?
The seal and the monthly archive are included in every plan, and Basic costs CHF 120 per year and domain. The PDF reports are part of Pro for CHF 240, both excluding VAT.
